Dick Fennelly obtained his Master Maine Guides License in 2002 after spending over 30 years actively hunting, fishing, and trapping in the Maine woods and on its waters. He is a "native" Mainer and knows the region where he offers his guide service extremely well.

Dick is a member of the Maine Professional Guides Association, the Sportsmans Alliance of Maine, the Maine Trappers Association, the National Rifle Association, and the North American Hunting Club.

Bog Mountain Guide Service is a small, and therefore, more personalized operation. Our goal is to provide you with a quality experience and that means that we will work hard to give you the best hunt that we can offer.

Our primary hunting camp and remote camp are more typical of the traditional Maine hunting camp and do not offer electricity or running water but we think that the accommodations are comfortable and that you will enjoy their rustic nature and their setting on two beautiful bodies of water. Our turkey hunting package is provided by an experienced fellow guide from a third camp located on another beautiful lake. That camp is equipped with full utility service.

We maintain several active bear bait sites to ensure that you will hunt at active sites. We have called numerous moose from considerable distance and are very comfortable with our ability to bring moose to within easy rifle or bow range.
